Base Salary
$121k - $171k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of robust, testable application code for a fixed income trading platform.
- Drive modernization toward smaller services and automated CI/CD pipelines.
- Develop non-functional features that improve reliability, scalability, performance, and testability.
- Analyze complex business and system processes and develop innovative solutions to high-impact problems.
- Ensure application designs align with the overall architecture blueprint and establish coding, testing, debugging, and implementation standards.
- Partner with multiple teams to integrate functions, deploy new products, and improve processes.
- Advise and coach mid-level developers and analysts and allocate work as needed.
- Apply risk, compliance, ethical judgment, and controls in business and technology decisions.
Requirements
- 12+ years of relevant application development experience.
- Experience with system analysis and software application programming, particularly performance and testability of components.
- Strong HTML5 and JavaScript experience, including React and Node.js, with knowledge of standard web development concepts.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and experience working in a mature, large, collaborative development environment.
- Ability to proactively adjust priorities and challenge current practices with new ideas.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; a master’s degree is preferred.
- Familiarity with C# and the .NET Framework is desirable.
- Knowledge of fixed income and derivatives financial products is beneficial but not essential.
- Good knowledge of AI tools such as CoPilot and Devin.
