Base Salary
$121k - $171k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable web UI architecture and high-quality client-side applications.
- Translate Rates trading desk requirements and workflow challenges into user-centered UI designs.
- Integrate streaming data feeds and RESTful APIs for high-throughput, low-latency systems.
- Analyze proposed technical solutions for scalability, robustness, and architectural alignment.
- Deliver large-scale technology projects from conception through deployment.
- Conduct comprehensive testing and contribute to software quality and development lifecycle improvements.
- Provide third-line production support and resolve escalated technical issues.
- Research emerging technologies and identify opportunities for application development innovation.
- Follow development, operational, risk, compliance, and control procedures.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of professional software development experience, primarily building sophisticated client-side applications.
- Expertise with Angular, ReactJS, JavaScript, HTML5, ES6+, TypeScript, and reactive programming such as RxJS.
- Experience designing and integrating streaming data feeds and RESTful APIs in high-throughput, low-latency systems.
- Practical experience with Kafka, Solace, MongoDB, Tekton, OpenShift, and Kubernetes.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment technologies.
- Exposure to Test-Driven Development and application performance profiling.
- Experience in a fast-paced, desk-facing financial services environment.
- Strong analytical, mathematical, communication, problem-solving, and learning skills.
- Bachelor’s or university degree or equivalent experience; a master’s degree is preferred.
- Prior knowledge of Rates Derivatives business is preferred.
