Responsibilities
- Own the frontend architecture of Litmus Edge, including Angular and TypeScript applications, shared component libraries, state management, theming, and multi-brand configuration.
- Build and maintain performant, complex data-heavy interfaces for configuration, marketplace, and analytics workflows.
- Mentor the frontend team, resolve complex technical issues, and make architectural and design decisions with other lead engineers.
- Review frontend code across Engineering while remaining hands-on in development.
- Collaborate with Product, QA, and Backend Engineering to align UI implementations with APIs and preserve QA automation test hooks.
- Own the process for delivering UI changes to customers, including build tagging and branching conventions.
- Uphold code quality through unit testing, accessibility, cross-browser standards, and security vulnerability management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a similar field.
- At least 8 years of frontend development experience, including at least 5 years building production applications with Angular v2+ and TypeScript.
- At least 3 years of experience as a technical team lead.
- Strong command of frontend architecture, component design, reactive state management with RxJS, and shared component libraries.
- Experience building and debugging complex, data-heavy interfaces such as real-time data applications, visualisations, or large editable grids.
- Understanding of cross-browser compatibility, accessibility standards, and design principles.
- Proficiency with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and collaborative development workflows.
- Experience shipping white-labelled or OEM-branded products from a single codebase is preferred.
- Familiarity with OIDC, Keycloak authentication, and browser-based role-based access control is preferred.
- Exposure to industrial automation, IIoT, or other operational technology domains is preferred.
