Bosch GlobalResponsibilities
- Design and implement embedded firmware and low-level software for ARM, Infineon TriCore, and STM microcontroller platforms.
- Develop, customize, and maintain embedded Linux or RTOS distributions using Yocto Project, Buildroot, OpenEmbedded, or equivalent frameworks.
- Perform board bring-up and hardware validation for embedded platforms supporting AI at the edge.
- Develop and maintain Board Support Packages, bootloader configurations, and device drivers.
- Integrate middleware, kernel modules, system services, and AI workload frameworks into embedded operating system images.
- Configure and maintain cross-compilation environments, build pipelines, and release processes for firmware and operating system artifacts.
- Collaborate with system architects and AI architects to diagnose and resolve hardware and firmware integration issues.
- Ensure code quality, reliability, and performance through code reviews, testing, and debugging.
- Contribute to embedded system architecture and software framework definition.
- Maintain technical documentation and advise on strategies for positioning the MASTRO edge-AI initiative.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems, or a related engineering discipline.
- 5 to 10 years of experience in embedded software, firmware, or related engineering work.
- Strong expertise in ARM, Infineon TriCore, and STM microcontroller architectures.
- Hands-on experience creating embedded Linux, QNX, AOS, or RTOS distributions using Yocto or similar build systems.
- Deep knowledge of low-level software development, build systems, board bring-up, and embedded system integration.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, documentation, ownership, and collaboration skills.
