Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineering teams to solve complex technical problems and contribute to design and implementation.
- Translate business and technical requirements into engineering solutions and help break down work for team members.
- Build RAG solutions and agentic AI systems using relevant frameworks.
- Experiment with emerging AI-assisted engineering tools and cloud services and provide feedback from practical testing.
- Deliver robust, reusable software that integrates with other teams’ workflows and products.
- Contribute to architectural discussions, propose improvements, and model engineering standards and best practices.
- Participate in code reviews, maintain high-quality codebases, and support technical documentation.
- Work on cross-functional projects, align stakeholders, and address interdependencies.
- Coach and mentor junior team members.
Requirements
- At least 12 years of experience designing and implementing scalable, maintainable, and reliable software solutions.
- Working knowledge of AI/ML and GenAI applications and their use in improving software engineering productivity.
- Experience building RAG systems using LlamaIndex, LangChain, or similar frameworks.
- Experience with agentic AI systems using AutoGen, SemanticKernel, Pydantic, or similar frameworks is preferred.
- Proficiency in one or more of Python, TypeScript, or C#.
- Experience developing microservices architectures on AWS and Azure cloud platforms.
- Daily use or familiarity with AI coding assistants such as Cursor, Continue, GitHub Copilot, Aider, or Cline.
- Knowledge of Anthropic Claude, Llama, LiteLLM, Cursor, Windsurf/Codeium, Vercel, Continue, Aider, Cline, LangChain, LangGraph, or Hugging Face is highly desirable.
- Strong technical leadership and stakeholder collaboration skills.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology.
