Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, and deploy generative-AI agents and copilots for trading and analyst workflows.
- Use prompting, loops, tool and function calling, and orchestration to implement agentic solutions.
- Evaluate datasets and analytical tools and prioritize development efforts based on trading opportunities.
- Establish reusable agent design patterns, components, and standards to improve quality and token efficiency.
- Redesign workflows and processes around agents to increase adoption, efficiency, and business impact.
- Build agent evaluation, monitoring, and guardrails for reliability, safety, and responsible-AI compliance.
- Document agent and GenAI platform best practices and upskill trading and analyst teams.
- Partner across product lines and serve as a connection between trading or analyst teams and the broader GenAI capability.
- Independently resolve moderately complex issues and escalate more complex issues when appropriate.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience; the posting states this typically reflects 3 or more years.
- Knowledge of agricultural trading business and the information that creates value for trading.
- Demonstrated experience building generative-AI applications or agents, including prompt engineering, RAG, and tool or function calling.
- Preferred: understanding of commodity trading markets.
- Preferred: hands-on experience building and deploying LLM-powered agents and copilots in production.
- Preferred: proficiency with agent frameworks and orchestration such as LangChain, LangGraph, function calling, and MCP.
- Preferred: experience with major LLM platforms including Anthropic Claude, OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, and Snowflake Cortex.
- Preferred: experience with agent evaluation, guardrails, and responsible-AI practices.
- Preferred: familiarity with trading or analyst workflows and redesigning them around AI.
