Responsibilities
- Lead architecture and design for complex, cross-team AI and agentic Windows features.
- Develop high-quality, performant code optimized for latency, memory usage, and reliability across devices.
- Define quality and success metrics for AI experiences, including evaluation, reliability, and responsible AI.
- Partner with product, design, and data science teams to turn ambiguous ideas into shipped customer value.
- Mentor engineers and raise engineering standards through modern, AI-assisted practices.
- Drive technical strategy and decisions across multiple groups and teams.
Requirements
- 12+ years of technical engineering experience with coding in languages including C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
- Hands-on experience building AI-powered products such as LLMs, agent frameworks, semantic search, or on-device inference.
- Windows or systems-level engineering experience.
- Experience building scalable and reliable platforms.
- Proven cross-group technical leadership, collaboration, and strong communication skills.
