Base Salary
$121k - $171k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, high-performance Java backend services.
- Architect and implement microservices using Spring Framework 6, Spring Boot 3, and Spring Cloud.
- Design and implement event-driven architectures with Apache Kafka.
- Design MongoDB and Oracle schemas and optimize complex queries and database performance.
- Write and maintain unit and integration tests.
- Implement secure coding practices, authentication, and authorization in microservices.
- Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers.
- Contribute to development process and best-practice improvements.
Requirements
- 7+ years of Java development experience with strong Core Java knowledge.
- Extensive experience with Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud.
- Proven experience designing and implementing microservices architectures.
- Experience with reactive programming and Apache Kafka event-driven systems.
- Strong MongoDB experience, including schema design, complex queries, and performance optimization.
- Understanding of NoSQL database concepts and best practices.
- Experience with Oracle databases, SQL, and performance optimization.
- Expertise in RESTful API design principles.
- Proficiency writing unit and integration tests with tools such as JUnit and Mockito.
- Knowledge of application security principles and secure coding practices.
- Experience implementing authentication and authorization in microservices using OAuth 2.0 and JWT.
- Preferred familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, Agile methodologies, payment systems, ISO 20022, and open-source contributions.
Benefits
- Full-time position with a stated annual salary range of $120,800 to $170,800.
