Responsibilities
- Lead implementation of large-scale projects throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Develop and maintain high-quality, secure REST APIs using Node.js, Express/Fastify, and MongoDB.
- Create and maintain web applications for 24/7 dispatchers using React.js.
- Utilize AI-powered coding tools to improve development experience and code quality.
- Establish best practices and maintain up-to-date architecture for the development team.
- Collaborate with product, customer success, and leadership teams to drive effective decisions.
- Research and apply new technologies to meet challenging product goals.
- Propose and maintain internal tools and infrastructure to support business objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years of professional software development experience.
- Experience mentoring other engineers.
- Strong programming skills in both front-end and back-end development.
- Familiarity with AI and agentic coding tools for software development.
- Experience with database design and development.
