Responsibilities
- Collaborate with development teams to improve developer experience through tools and infrastructure supporting continuous integration and continuous delivery.
- Design, develop, troubleshoot, and maintain software solutions and production code.
- Create secure, high-quality code and maintain algorithms that integrate with appropriate systems.
- Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications and ensure implementation meets design constraints.
- Analyze and visualize large, diverse datasets to improve software applications and systems.
- Identify data patterns and hidden problems to improve coding hygiene and system architecture.
- Participate in software engineering communities of practice and technology events.
- Work with Atlassian SaaS products, SSO integration, SCIM, and Terraform resource creation.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and at least 3 years of applied experience.
- Practical experience with system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment using modern programming languages such as Python and database querying languages.
- Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle, Agile methodologies, Applicant Resiliency, and security.
- Knowledge of software applications and technical processes in a discipline such as cloud or mobile engineering.
- Production experience with public cloud services such as AWS.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code such as Terraform.
- Familiarity with modern frontend or backend technologies and proficiency in one or more programming languages are preferred.
- Experience with GitHub, GitHub Actions, Artifactory, Terraform Cloud, Slack, Grafana, or SonarQube is preferred.
