Responsibilities
- Design and develop production-ready backend services.
- Define and execute automated AWS deployments with stability and traceability.
- Structure cloud applications across frontend, backend, databases, and service communication.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and manage application versioning and development, staging, and production environments.
- Configure and operate AWS Lambda, ECS/Fargate, API Gateway, and S3.
- Implement basic monitoring, logging, incident tracking, backups, load balancing, and disaster recovery.
- Apply foundational security practices to cloud applications, including endpoint protection and access controls.
- Participate in practical architecture decisions and communicate technical decisions with engineering teams.
Requirements
- More than five years of backend development experience with real-world cloud exposure, particularly AWS.
- Strong backend development experience with Node.js, Python, Java, or other backend technologies.
- Practical AWS experience, including VPCs, regions, service communication, Lambda, API Gateway, ECS/Fargate, and S3.
- Experience with automated application deployment, CI/CD tools, environment management, and versioning.
- Experience with Docker and container deployment to Fargate or similar environments.
- Practical knowledge of load balancing, backups, and basic-to-intermediate disaster recovery.
- Basic knowledge of security for cloud applications.
- Intermediate English sufficient for technical communication.
- Mexico location and ability to work within defined processes, standards, and best practices.
- A degree or training in Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field is desirable.
- Preferred AWS associate or professional certifications and experience in structured or institutional environments.
