Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and scaling of backend services processing millions of data workflows daily.
- Architect AI-based solutions for revenue forecasting problems.
- Investigate and resolve complex technical and production issues through root-cause analysis.
- Design reusable backend services, data integration capabilities, and developer tooling.
- Lead technical design discussions and contribute to application architecture decisions.
- Improve system reliability, performance, observability, and operational excellence.
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews, knowledge sharing, and engineering best practices.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience building reliable, scalable production software in Java or Go within microservice-based environments.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems and experience troubleshooting and operating production systems.
- Experience improving reliability, performance, incident resolution, and root-cause analysis.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS.
- Experience with relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL, and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, including data modeling and performance optimization.
- Experience using observability systems and Java or Go testing frameworks.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills across engineering, product, and support teams.
- Experience developing AI applications is a preferred qualification.
