Responsibilities
- Design and implement automotive manufacturing applications integrating Opcenter Exec Discrete Process with enterprise systems.
- Develop Teamcenter extensions for product data and process information management.
- Configure Opcenter Exec Discrete Process rules and objects for traceability, genealogy, and compliance.
- Perform verification and validation activities, including functional and integration testing and test documentation.
- Optimize application logic, database interactions, and interfaces for responsive shop-floor and engineering systems.
- Conduct root cause analysis for defects and production incidents and implement corrective fixes.
- Create technical documentation covering solution design, configuration, integrations, and verification procedures.
- Collaborate with manufacturing engineering, quality, IT, testing teams, and other stakeholders on technical designs and test scenarios.
- Provide peer guidance on Opcenter Exec Discrete Process and Teamcenter best practices.
- Propose enhancements that improve throughput, reduce rework, and support sustainable manufacturing.
- Ensure features and integrations comply with enterprise security, data integrity, and confidential-information standards.
- Communicate progress, risks, and technical options to project partners.
Requirements
- Six to nine years of hands-on software development experience focused on manufacturing execution and product lifecycle solutions in the automotive industry.
- Advanced proficiency configuring and extending Opcenter Exec Discrete Process modules for automotive production and quality scenarios.
- Proven experience with Teamcenter, including product data management, workflow configuration, and downstream manufacturing integrations.
- Experience with automotive verification and validation, including test strategies, functional and integration testing, and results documentation.
- Understanding of discrete assembly production, part approval, and change management processes.
- Knowledge of relational databases, scripting or programming languages, and integration techniques.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional automotive teams.
