Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, and operate GCP services at scale, including networking, IAM, monitoring, and resource management.
- Write, modularize, and manage Terraform infrastructure code, including state management and CI/CD integration.
- Set up GitLab pipelines for automated infrastructure provisioning, testing, and deployment.
- Configure and troubleshoot GCP cloud environments.
- Apply cloud security and compliance best practices to foundational cloud platforms.
- Design or integrate landing zones across GCP, AWS, and Azure, including networking, identity federation, and workload migration.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, analyze complex information, communicate recommendations, and manage risk and controls.
- Lead or guide team members, set objectives, coach employees, and contribute to policy and operational effectiveness as applicable.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience deploying, configuring, and operating GCP services at scale.
- Proficiency writing, modularizing, and managing Terraform code for complex cloud environments.
- Experience with Terraform state management and CI/CD integration.
- Experience setting up GitLab pipelines for automated provisioning, testing, and deployment of cloud infrastructure.
- Experience configuring and troubleshooting GCP cloud environments.
- Familiarity with cloud or GCP security best practices for landing zones.
- Python coding skills are valued.
- Multi-cloud experience with AWS and/or Azure, including networking, identity federation, and workload migration, is valued.
- GCP certification is valued.
