Base Salary
$90k - $180k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own scoped feature or model delivery through implementation, iteration, testing, deployment, monitoring, maintenance, and support.
- Develop scalable iOS applications using Swift, Objective-C, UIKit, CoreAnimation, Core Graphics, concurrency, and related iOS frameworks.
- Debug network traffic and application performance using Proxyman, Instruments, RocketSim, and device simulators.
- Design and implement backend APIs, RESTful integrations, frontend applications, and network communication for iOS clients.
- Deploy applications to the App Store and TestFlight using Fastlane and GitHub Actions.
- Write and maintain unit, integration, and UI tests using XCTest and XCUITest.
- Design modular application architectures using MVVM, MVC, and Clean Architecture patterns.
- Integrate AI agents and ML components through internal and external APIs and use GenAI development tools.
- Conduct code reviews, define engineering practices, mentor peers, and contribute to technical design and architectural decisions.
- Monitor application performance, reliability, uptime, quality, and delivery milestones using appropriate metrics and tools.
Requirements
- Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field plus one year of software engineering experience; or bachelor's degree or equivalent plus three years of experience.
- Experience developing Swift iOS applications in Xcode and using Instruments for performance analysis and debugging.
- Experience with Proxyman for HTTP/HTTPS network inspection and RocketSim for iOS simulator testing.
- Experience with Swift, Objective-C, UIKit, CoreAnimation, Core Graphics, concurrency, and scalable resilient application design.
- Experience deploying iOS applications to the App Store and TestFlight using Fastlane and GitHub Actions.
- Experience integrating backend systems, handling sensitive clinical data, and designing RESTful API integrations.
- Experience with JavaScript, PHP, Angular, backend API development, and frontend application development.
- Experience writing unit, integration, and UI tests with XCTest and XCUITest.
- Experience implementing reactive programming with Combine and architectures including MVVM, MVC, and Clean Architecture.
- Experience conducting code reviews, establishing engineering best practices, and defining architectural patterns for iOS teams.
