Responsibilities
- Shape the pod’s quality strategy, testing standards, and quality gates from the ground up.
- Define acceptance criteria and personally test AI-assisted and AI-generated output, proofs of concept, and client work when needed.
- Design, build, and maintain scalable API and end-to-end test automation frameworks using Playwright and TypeScript.
- Advise technical leads, architects, business analysts, product stakeholders, and clients on risks, quality trade-offs, validation strategies, and testing approaches.
- Help establish shared definitions of done and quality standards across the pod.
- Support client pre-sales conversations and proofs of concept by explaining quality strategy and building confidence in the AI-Native delivery model.
- Participate in a structured two- to three-month training and ramp-up cycle.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of software testing experience covering both manual and automated testing.
- Proven experience as a Test Lead, QA Lead, Senior Test Engineer, or Quality Engineering Lead.
- Strong understanding of quality engineering, end-to-end product quality ownership, quality strategies, QA processes, testing standards, and quality gates.
- Practical experience using AI/LLM tools for test design, test generation, automation code generation, troubleshooting, debugging, refactoring, and maintenance.
- Strong experience with API and end-to-end test automation using Playwright and TypeScript.
- Experience building and maintaining scalable test automation frameworks and automated tests within CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong knowledge of API, backend, integration, and end-to-end testing, including test architecture, mocking, service virtualization, and test data management.
- Experience collaborating with architects, developers, business analysts, and product stakeholders to define requirements, acceptance criteria, and testing approaches.
- Experience evaluating risks, quality trade-offs, and validation strategies throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Experience working in Agile and cross-functional product teams.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, communication, presentation, consulting, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences and work autonomously in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Upper-Intermediate or Advanced English proficiency.
- Experience with AI-Native or AI-assisted software delivery projects is a plus.
