Base Salary
$93k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deliver Kubernetes platform solutions for OCI.
- Build Kubernetes cluster lifecycle management, infrastructure automation, and cloud-native platform services.
- Design scalable APIs, data models, and service architectures for reliable distributed systems.
- Drive work from problem definition through design, implementation, launch, and ongoing operation.
- Collaborate across engineering disciplines and contribute to Kubernetes, CNCF, and open-source projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3+ years of professional software development experience delivering production-quality distributed systems, platform services, or developer tools.
- Strong programming skills in one or more modern languages such as Java, Go, C++, C#, or Python.
- Experience designing scalable, available, secure, and operable APIs, data models, and service architectures.
- Understanding of cloud-native systems, containers, orchestration, CI/CD, infrastructure automation, or release engineering.
- Demonstrated ownership of work through design, implementation, launch, and ongoing operation.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills and effective cross-functional collaboration.
- Preferred experience includes application deployment platforms, continuous delivery, GitOps, artifact management, developer platform engineering, large-scale distributed systems, multi-tenant cloud services, control planes, workflow orchestration, SRE, incident response, observability, capacity and performance engineering, security engineering, identity and access management, policy-as-code, supply-chain security, or compliance automation.
