Base Salary

$180k - $210k/yr

Responsibilities

Design and build microservices and APIs for the Control Plane using Node.js, Go, and Python.
Develop customer-facing features and UI components with React.
Own features end-to-end from concept to production.
Build systems for environment lifecycle management including deploys and upgrades.
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and customers to translate needs into product capabilities.
Improve platform usability, performance, and reliability.
Contribute to system design and architecture decisions.
Define best practices for building application services on Astro Private Cloud.

5+ years of software engineering experience with ownership of production systems.
Strong experience in building backend services or microservices using Node.js.
Experience with Golang or Python.
Experience with modern frontend applications (React.js or similar).
Experience in cloud-native environments (Kubernetes, AWS/GCP/Azure).
Solid understanding of system design, APIs, and distributed systems.
Strong communication skills for collaboration across teams.
Experience with SQL databases like Postgres or MySQL.
Experience with CI/CD tools in cloud-native environments.
Knowledge of security best practices across the full stack.
