Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant infrastructure for the Cloud platform.
- Operate production systems, troubleshoot incidents, participate in on-call rotations, and perform root cause analysis.
- Implement and improve monitoring, alerting, observability, and incident response systems.
- Develop workflows and tooling for CI/CD, containerization, orchestration, monitoring, and logging.
- Drive infrastructure automation, deployment, orchestration, and continuous reliability improvements.
- Build a cloud platform that abstracts infrastructure complexity for science and engineering teams.
- Collaborate with software engineers to enable safe and reproducible model-training experiments.
- Ensure infrastructure follows security best practices and compliance requirements with the security team.
- Document processes and procedures for consistency and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in a DevOps or SRE role.
- Strong expertise in bare-metal infrastructure and distributed systems.
- Hands-on experience with site reliability issues, production troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and on-call rotations.
- Proficiency with reliability KPIs, observability, alerting, and SLAs.
- Experience with CI/CD, containerization, and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Datadog.
- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Proficiency in Python, Go, or Bash and understanding of software development best practices.
- Solid understanding of networking, security, and system administration concepts.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills for collaborative work.
- Experience in an AI/ML environment, HPC systems, or modern AI-oriented solutions such as Fluidstack, CoreWeave, or Vast is a plus.
