Responsibilities
- Analyze client requirements and design and develop business logic and software applications.
- Analyze defects reported by clients and provide fixes to products and applications.
- Write design and specification documents in collaboration with business analysts and customers.
- Debug C software on Unix platforms and perform practical troubleshooting.
- Support client implementations, conversions, migrations, and dedicated professional-services engagements.
Requirements
- 5+ years of overall experience is preferred.
- Extensive software-development experience on Unix platforms, including IBM AIX.
- Excellent knowledge of C and experience debugging C on Unix.
- Experience writing design or specification documents.
- Knowledge of the financial-services marketplace.
- Pro*C, PL1, Fortran, Shell, and Perl experience is advantageous.
- Strong verbal and written communication, problem-solving, analytical, troubleshooting, time-management, independent-work, and self-learning skills.
