Responsibilities
- Define solution architecture and deliver end-to-end engineering for enterprise products using microservices and containerized environments.
- Build and scale Java and Spring Boot microservices across OpenShift, Kubernetes, and ECS environments.
- Drive enterprise adoption of DevOps, CI/CD, automated testing, and SDLC compliance practices.
- Lead platform modernization for DB Pitstop, Autobahn, DBCTScan, and the LightSpeed platform.
- Design distributed scheduling and messaging capabilities using Apache Kafka.
- Develop MongoDB self-service capabilities using optimized queries and reusable pipeline frameworks.
- Drive enterprise AI initiatives, developer copilot adoption, and Model Context Protocol tool architecture.
- Serve as service owner for development guardrails, security compliance, vulnerability management, and secure coding practices.
- Define product roadmaps, balance technical debt with innovation, and provide technical leadership across Agile teams.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of experience building scalable microservices and delivering end-to-end solution architecture.
- Hands-on experience with Core Java, Spring Boot, React or Angular, and Kubernetes, OpenShift, or ECS.
- Experience with platform modernization, enterprise UI design systems such as ICG DS, and distributed messaging and scheduling with Apache Kafka.
- Strong MongoDB experience including query optimization, pipeline framework design, and self-service enablement.
- Experience with Oracle, PostgreSQL, and CI/CD pipeline automation using Bitbucket, Jenkins, and Artifactory.
- Experience with security guardrails and tools such as SonarQube, Renovate, tokenization, and automated testing frameworks.
- Familiarity with enterprise AI tools, code copilots, Model Context Protocol, OAuth, JWT, and SSL/TLS.
- Experience with product ownership, technical direction, Agile collaboration, JIRA, and Confluence.
- Bachelor’s or university degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
