Base Salary
$117k - $138k/yr
Responsibilities
- Implement well-scoped cloud network features as part of larger engineering projects.
- Write clean, maintainable, well-tested software and contribute to feature design documentation.
- Participate in testing, software rollouts, code reviews, and architecture discussions across the technology stack.
- Develop foundational expertise in distributed network systems through mentorship, pairing, and collaboration.
- Work cross-functionally on team initiatives including technical talks and open-source exploration.
Requirements
- Some hands-on experience building or operating software systems through internships, coursework, personal projects, or approximately one year of professional work.
- Working knowledge of at least one programming language such as Java or Go.
- Basic understanding of Linux fundamentals, computer architecture, source control, testing, code reviews, and software development practices.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with a willingness to learn from senior engineers.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Preferred exposure to cloud infrastructure, distributed systems, networking protocols, BGP, VXLAN, TCP/IP, Open vSwitch, networking concepts, or open-source contributions.
