Base Salary
$103k - $222k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own monitoring and observability for multi-cloud production workloads.
- Automate incident response using runbooks, chat-ops, and auto-remediation scripts.
- Design and maintain secure cloud foundations, landing zones, IAM, workload identity, secrets management, and network controls.
- Build reusable Terraform modules and manage infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD pipelines.
- Implement cloud security guardrails, policy-as-code, vulnerability remediation, secrets rotation, and configuration standards.
- Partner with DevOps and application teams to enable secure standardized deployments and troubleshoot infrastructure blockers.
- Ensure logging, alerting, backups, and audit evidence meet SOC 2 and ISO 27001 controls.
- Participate in weekly on-call rotation and lead blameless incident retrospectives.
- Drive cloud performance and cost optimization across production environments.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 4 years of professional experience in cloud operations, SRE, or DevOps roles.
- Hands-on experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Proficiency in Python, PowerShell, Bash, or similar scripting or programming languages.
- Experience deploying and supporting monitoring and alerting platforms.
- Preferred experience with enterprise IAM, workload identity/OIDC, secrets management, cloud security controls, and Terraform-based landing-zone or platform engineering.
- Preferred AWS SysOps Administrator, Google Cloud DevOps Engineer, or Azure Administrator Associate certification.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes, service mesh, and distributed tracing.
