Base Salary
$152k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead and define full-stack architecture across multiple scrum teams.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient Ruby and TypeScript code.
- Own architectural planning, design, and documentation for distributed systems.
- Identify, evaluate, and mitigate technical risks.
- Mentor engineers through pair programming and design reviews.
- Partner with Product and Design to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Drive continuous improvement through refactoring and test automation.
- Influence architectural strategy by collaborating with engineering leadership.
- Deliver fast, reliable, and scalable applications.
Requirements
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Expert proficiency in front-end development using TypeScript.
- Strong experience in building and designing distributed systems.
- Demonstrated experience in architectural planning and system design.
- Experience writing production-level Ruby code.
- Proven ability to identify and mitigate technical risks.
- Experience leading multiple engineering teams.
- Ability to operate with little-to-no technical guidance.
- Excellent communication skills.
