Responsibilities
- Own problems end-to-end from architecture and design through production shipping and iteration
- Work across platform and infrastructure engineering, backend services and APIs, product surfaces, and applied research
- Partner directly with research and ML teams to turn frontier voice AI capabilities into reliable production systems
- Help establish technical standards and practices for the engineering team
- Shift between infrastructure, research prototypes, and customer-facing features according to company needs
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science from a top university
- Proven track record of building and shipping production systems
- Ability and interest to work across platform engineering, backend, infrastructure, product, and applied research
- Strong engineering fundamentals with clean, testable, and maintainable code
- Full-stack fluency or demonstrated ability to quickly learn new technology stacks
- Ability to take ambiguous problems from definition through shipment with minimal oversight
- Experience using modern AI tooling, including coding agents and LLM APIs
- Preferred experience with real-time or streaming systems, including WebSockets, WebRTC, or audio/media pipelines
- Preferred familiarity with voice, telephony, or conversational AI products
- Early-stage startup experience, founder experience, or technical lead experience is preferred
