Responsibilities
- Own technical problems end to end from architecture and design through production shipping and iteration.
- Work across platform and infrastructure engineering, backend services and APIs, product surfaces, and applied research.
- Partner with research and ML teams to turn frontier voice AI capabilities into reliable production systems.
- Help establish technical standards and practices for the growing team.
- Move between infrastructure, research prototypes, and customer-facing features based on company needs and individual strengths.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science from a top university.
- Proven track record of building and shipping production systems.
- Ability and interest to work across platform engineering, research, frontend, backend, and infrastructure.
- Strong engineering fundamentals, including clean, testable, and maintainable code.
- Ability to work autonomously, take ownership of ambiguous problems, and execute quickly.
- Comfort using modern AI tooling, including coding agents and LLM APIs.
- Nice to have experience with real-time or streaming systems, WebSockets, WebRTC, audio or media pipelines, voice or conversational AI, early-stage startups, or technical leadership.
