Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement new modules and APIs for the Onit App Builder and BillingPoint.
- Plan, build, and launch product features.
- Collaborate with designers and project management to create well-designed user experiences.
- Estimate development tasks and meet deadlines.
- Automate test cases when needed.
- Work independently on backend development while expanding full-stack skills.
- Mentor junior development and QA resources.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience using current languages for web development.
- Required experience with frontend development, JavaScript, and React.
- Experience with dynamic languages such as Ruby on Rails.
- Intermediate to advanced SQL and relational database knowledge; PostgreSQL experience is a plus.
- Working knowledge of CI/CD concepts and highly desired experience with AWS, containerization, and Kubernetes.
- Understanding of full-cycle development using Agile methodologies.
- Ability to work in Mac/Linux environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a similar discipline.
