Responsibilities
- Develop and modify operating-system applications and enterprise software using Java and related languages.
- Perform software analysis, design, coding, benchmark testing, debugging, documentation, and operational integration.
- Develop and implement tools for operations automation.
- Provide technical support, user support, complex problem resolution, and root-cause analysis for systems software products.
- Interface with system support groups to resolve problems and improve operating-system efficiency.
- Support software integration, formal testing, build management, and related development activities.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of related experience.
- Active Secret clearance.
- U.S. citizenship.
- Experience with software engineering and development using Java/J2EE, C++/object-oriented programming, or a similar language.
- Experience developing enterprise applications on Linux; Windows experience is desired.
- Knowledge of coding standards, automated testing, automated build pipelines, and configuration.
- Experience with Maven, Git/GitHub, Nexus, and Eclipse.
- Strong problem-solving skills, including reviewing performance and operational issues and designing and implementing solutions.
- Command-and-control system application development, software integration, formal testing, and DevSecOps or build management experience are desired.
- Ability to explain advanced concepts to non-software engineers, including senior program and military leaders.
