Associate Engineer - Gitlab CI CD

- Configure, customize, and build embedded Linux distributions using the Yocto Project.
- Develop Yocto layers and recipes for project development.
- Integrate third-party libraries, tools, and drivers into custom Linux distributions.
- Triage build failures and provide solutions and guidance to users.
- Collaborate with CI and build implementation teams on major failures and findings.
- Troubleshoot build issues and optimize build times.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to optimize workflows and ensure seamless integration.
Requirements
- 3 to 6 years of experience with GitLab CI/CD and build or integration engineering.
- Strong experience with the Yocto Project, including writing recipes and layers and customizing images in a continuous integration environment.
- Hands-on experience with Python and shell scripting.
- Proficiency in C programming and Linux.
- Experience with Git and build automation tools.
- Familiarity with menuconfig, make, and kernel patches.
- Experience with JFrog Artifactory and GitLab CI.
- Knowledge of automotive infotainment system architecture and components.
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with Android architecture and build systems is a bonus.
- Knowledge of the Bazel build system is a bonus.
