Associate Engineer - Gitlab CI CD

- Configure, customize, and build Linux distributions for embedded systems using the Yocto Project.
- Develop Yocto layers and recipes for project development.
- Integrate third-party libraries, tools, and drivers into custom Linux distributions.
- Triaging build failures, guiding users, troubleshooting build issues, and optimizing build times.
- Collaborate with CI/build implementation and DevOps teams to resolve failures and optimize workflows.
- Support GitLab CI/CD and build automation processes.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience, with the posting describing a 3–6 year range, in GitLab CI/CD and related build and integration work.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Strong experience writing Yocto recipes and layers and customizing images within a continuous integration environment.
- Hands-on experience with Python or shell scripting, plus proficiency in C and Linux.
- Experience with Git, build automation tools, JFrog Artifactory, and GitLab CI.
- Familiarity with menuconfig, make, kernel patches, and automotive infotainment architecture.
- Experience with Android architecture and build systems or Bazel is a bonus.
