Base Salary

$87k - $165k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Decompose system-level and customer interface requirements into software requirements and designs.
  • Document traceability or rationale for derived requirements and designs and produce software requirement and design specifications.
  • Conduct prototype testing, requirements and design reviews, and software planning, estimating, and tracking.
  • Perform regression analysis, develop and review test descriptions, execute electronic bench and low-level module tests, and evaluate results.
  • Conduct robustness testing, verification reviews, and produce verification reports.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and potentially serve as an Agile Scrum Master or Development Team member.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM).
  • Five years of engineering experience, or three years with an advanced degree.
  • Experience or knowledge in controls systems development and support is preferred.
  • Prior software development in an Agile framework and safety-critical software development experience are preferred.
  • Familiarity with DO178B, jet engine control and diagnostic system architectures, and control logic design is preferred.
  • Strong technical results, communication, and performance in dynamic, high-pressure engineering environments are preferred.
  • An active and existing DoD Secret security clearance is required after day one, and U.S. citizenship is required.
