Base Salary
$130k - $150k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using Java, Spring, and Spring Boot.
- Contribute across the full software development lifecycle, including development, testing, code reviews, and production releases.
- Take ownership of application delivery, stability, and technical improvements.
- Perform system design, technical analysis, and proof-of-concept development.
- Support application monitoring, upgrades, and production issues.
- Collaborate with local and offshore teams and business and technology stakeholders.
- Mentor junior developers when needed.
Requirements
- 8+ years of hands-on Java development experience.
- 5+ years of Spring and Spring Boot experience.
- Strong knowledge of Core Java, concurrency, collections, and exception handling.
- Experience with REST APIs and distributed applications.
- Good SQL knowledge.
- Experience with Git, Maven, and CI/CD.
- Messaging experience with ActiveMQ, Kafka, or similar technologies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or Quantitative Finance.
- Strong communication skills and a proactive mindset.
- Angular experience, Azure experience, OpenShift/container experience, and Financial Markets or Fixed Income knowledge are preferred.
