Responsibilities
- Maintain automation and tools used to configure, build, package, deploy, and test software.
- Develop products and solutions that meet business requirements for quality and efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with release engineering systems and tools.
- Provide operational and customer support, with technical services and operations support comprising up to 30% of the job function.
- Design solutions within requirements and architectural constraints and independently determine methods for new assignments.
- Support multiple projects, report progress, and contribute to development planning.
- Research and evaluate new technologies and determine when to apply them.
- Transfer knowledge and mentor other engineers while contributing as an individual contributor and team leader.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science, or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years of experience implementing DevOps practices.
- Experience with virtual environments, Jenkins automation, Packer, Docker, and Chocolatey is desired.
- Strong development abilities in C#, C++, VBScript, JavaScript, ASP.NET, HTML, Perl, awk, Python, and Lua.
- Strong PowerShell, Batch, and Shell scripting abilities.
- Experience with databases such as Microsoft SQL Server.
- Expertise with software version control systems including GitHub and Perforce.
- Proficiency with Atlassian tools, including Jira and Confluence, is desired.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, troubleshooting, organization, multitasking, and independent-work skills.
- Gaming industry experience is preferred.
- Ability to obtain required gaming or other licenses and pass applicable background investigations or security checks.
