Responsibilities
- Design, code, enhance, and maintain scalable software components and applications.
- Develop Java and Spring Boot solutions, APIs, integrations, and distributed systems.
- Troubleshoot and optimize application performance and maintainability.
- Collaborate with multiple teams and stakeholders on technical and business decisions.
- Lead process improvements that enhance productivity and software quality.
- Mentor junior team members and support their professional growth.
- Use GitHub Copilot and AI-assisted techniques for architecture, coding, refactoring, documentation, and test generation.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience with Spring Boot.
- Proficiency in Spring Boot and strong Java software development experience.
- Knowledge of Core Java, JPA/Hibernate, SQL, Kafka, messaging systems, and distributed systems design.
- Experience designing scalable and maintainable software architectures.
- Ability to troubleshoot and optimize application performance.
- Familiarity with API and third-party service integrations.
- Python experience is preferred, including FastAPI, Flask, or Django, API development, automation, scripting, and data-processing workflows.
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle practices and agile methodologies.
- 15 years of full-time education is required.
