Base Salary
$138k - $182k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own architecture and technical direction for finance initiatives including Unified Billing and financial integrations.
- Lead cross-team engineering efforts across multiple scrum teams and align design, standards, and execution.
- Design scalable, resilient systems handling high-volume financial transactions with strong data consistency and auditability.
- Partner with product and business stakeholders to translate financial requirements into technical solutions.
- Modernize, migrate, integrate, and optimize NetSuite and related financial platforms.
- Mentor engineers and tech leads while improving engineering practices and technical depth.
- Influence organization-wide standards for observability, reliability, security, and performance.
- Identify opportunities to apply AI and automation to developer productivity and operational efficiency.
- Advise leadership on long-term technical strategy and investment decisions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field; an advanced degree is preferred.
- 12–15+ years of software development experience, including 5+ years in a senior technical leadership or lead role.
- Proven experience designing, building, and implementing large-scale, complex enterprise systems.
- Demonstrated success driving technical innovation and modernization initiatives.
- Experience in the FinTech or financial systems domain.
- Expert-level proficiency in .NET, .NET Core, C#, SQL, and Python.
- Strong experience with Microsoft Azure, including App Service, API Management, Service Bus, Application Insights, Application Gateway, Event Grid, Key Vault, and Azure SQL.
- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Git-based version control.
- Experience with distributed systems, messaging frameworks, relational databases, enterprise platforms, data tools, APIs, and secure software development.
- Familiarity with front-end technologies, code quality and testing tools, observability tools, and production debugging.
- Strong leadership, communication, collaboration, analytical, problem-solving, mentoring, and stakeholder-influence skills.
