Base Salary
$207k - $300k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and develop features supporting future scale, resiliency, and isolation.
- Identify future bottlenecks using monitoring, experimentation, and other signals, and propose solutions.
- Collaborate with SRE and partner teams to drive holistic solutions across multiple quarters.
- Influence partner teams and communicate effectively on complex distributed-systems initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience working with distributed systems.
- Experience building software in backend or infrastructure.
- Preferred experience with software engineering in C++.
- Preferred experience building database software and solving problems at scale.
- Knowledge of database core concepts, including consistency and isolation.

- US base salary of $207000-$300000, plus a 20% bonus target, equity, and benefits.
