Responsibilities
- Configure and maintain Akeneo entities, product data models, workflows, validation rules, enrichment processes, governance controls, user management, and access controls.
- Design, build, test, and deploy custom Akeneo applications, extensions, reusable components, services, and automation solutions.
- Develop and support REST API, event-driven, and data synchronization integrations between Akeneo and enterprise platforms.
- Execute product and asset data migrations, imports, exports, transformations, and validation activities while maintaining data quality.
- Monitor platform health, integration pipelines, and automated jobs; troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis.
- Support platform upgrades, releases, performance optimization, operational documentation, and support procedures.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, architects, product managers, vendors, and governance teams, and mentor team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 6 years of software development experience.
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience implementing, developing, or administering Akeneo PIM.
- Experience developing enterprise applications with Java and/or Python.
- Experience with REST APIs, JSON, web services, Git-based source control, and modern software development practices.
- Preferred experience with Akeneo SaaS or Akeneo Serenity, enterprise integrations, AWS cloud services, event-driven architectures, product data modeling, data governance, data quality management, and cloud-native application development.
- Preferred familiarity with large-scale global product catalogs, multilingual product content, PIM, MDM, SQL, data processing, and CI/CD pipelines.
