Responsibilities
- Develop secure, scalable, reliable, user-focused software and write clean code with unit tests.
- Design, code, debug, test, troubleshoot, and review software throughout the development lifecycle.
- Create technical and user documentation and contribute to product innovation and process improvements.
- Lead small-to-medium features and limited-complexity projects from technical design through completion.
- Troubleshoot production issues, participate in on-call rotations, lead postmortems, and write root-cause analyses.
- Collaborate with design, product management, and cross-functional stakeholders on customer-focused solutions and delivery timelines.
- Mentor peers and engineering interns and share technical knowledge across teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree plus 5 years of related experience, or a master’s degree plus 3 years, or a PhD plus 0 years.
- Working and expanded conceptual knowledge in the primary technical job family and proficiency with current technologies.
- Experience with software development best practices, secure coding principles, threat modeling, coding, debugging, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Ability to work independently, lead features or projects, perform code reviews, mentor colleagues, and collaborate across teams.
