Responsibilities
- Architect, design, develop, and test critical product features and subsystems.
- Develop, train, and validate AI, machine learning, computer vision, and deep learning algorithms and models.
- Lead a team of engineers in algorithm and model design and development.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers.
- Track project and product milestones and releases to help ensure schedule and budget targets are met.
- Prepare for and conduct technical reviews presenting work to the company.
- Practice agile development, including continuous integration-focused methodologies.
- Lead continuous process and productivity improvements within the team.
- Engage in professional development activities to enhance technical skills.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Statistics, or Mathematics.
- Proficiency in Python with a strong programming background.
- Strong knowledge of AI, machine learning, and deep learning theory and concepts.
- Experience developing, training, and validating AI models to solve real-world problems.
- At least 5 years of progressive professional experience.
- United States citizenship.
- Strong technical, leadership, analytical, communication, and creative problem-solving skills.
- Ability to effectively lead a small to medium-sized team.
- Preferred experience developing and deploying ML models into products and services.
- A master’s degree or PhD in a computer science-related discipline is desired.
- Experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, OpenCV, NumPy, SciPy, Pandas, Matplotlib, or MATLAB is strongly desired.
