Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, maintain, troubleshoot, and upgrade Python software applications.
- Design, implement, and manage scalable MLOps pipelines and infrastructure.
- Develop and manage Docker-based containerized applications and Kubernetes orchestration.
- Manage NoSQL and SQL databases and optimize database performance.
- Implement data workflows using Apache Airflow and Kafka.
- Automate machine learning model training, testing, and deployment.
- Develop scalable, reliable, and performant APIs.
- Implement infrastructure as code and configuration management tools.
- Collaborate with data scientists to integrate machine learning models into applications.
- Design and develop scalable microservices architectures.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle from design through deployment.
- Provide leadership, coaching, training, feedback, and development support to AIMS team members.
- Support analytics involving petabyte-scale data and large-scale, multi-INT missions.
Requirements
- Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.
- 7+ years of experience in software development, MLOps, DevOps, or related roles.
- Proficiency in Python and experience with Python frameworks.
- Extensive knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD tools, and automated testing.
- Experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, Git, and SVN.
- Hands-on experience with NoSQL and SQL databases.
- Proficiency with Apache Airflow and cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
- Understanding of software architecture and design patterns, with strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Experience with agile development methodologies.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Familiarity with event-driven architecture, Kafka, RabbitMQ, feature stores, model registries, Spark, Hadoop, Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK stack preferred.
- Significant experience with petabyte-scale datasets and large-scale, multi-INT analytics preferred.
