Responsibilities
- Innovate and maintain cross-asset market microstructure analytics for client execution decisions.
- Develop pre-trade, real-time monitoring, and post-trade analytics infrastructure and tools.
- Develop and optimize existing and new algorithms across front-end and back-end systems.
- Conduct execution strategy analysis and present results to internal and external audiences.
- Work with Sales and Trading on tailored pitches and interact with clients across Asia.
- Provide execution analysis and market color to help clients optimize their use of algorithms.
- Coordinate Quant and Technology development timelines and work with third-party vendors to distribute algorithm products and analytics.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in a STEM discipline.
- Strong mathematical and computational background with fluency in Python.
- Some background in database languages such as KDB or SQL.
- Understanding of complex technology-system architecture and interest in developing scalable technical solutions.
- Project management, interpersonal, and communication skills for coordinating technical work and explaining technical topics to non-technical audiences.
- Preferred: familiarity with FX, Rates, or Futures markets and market structure.
- Preferred: some knowledge of Java.
