Base Salary
$188k - $317k/yr
Responsibilities
- Apply machine learning and robotics research knowledge, including LLM and reinforcement learning, to analyze and optimize deep learning model architectures.
- Design and implement high-performance CUDA kernels for model inference and computation-heavy operators.
- Analyze computation graphs and identify optimization opportunities across model structures.
- Use CUDA and OpenMP parallel computing techniques to improve throughput, latency, and resource utilization in machine learning workloads.
- Migrate between TensorFlow and PyTorch model-serving frameworks while maintaining correctness and performance consistency.
- Develop algorithm-level optimizations for in-graph and out-of-graph computations while balancing AUC and execution efficiency.
Requirements
- A master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Data Science, Robotics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field plus 1 year of related work experience; or a bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in one of these fields plus 3 years of related work experience.
- At least 1 year of experience coding with Python or C++.
- At least 1 year of experience optimizing deep learning training and inference pipelines on GPU and CPU architectures.
- At least 1 year of experience implementing CUDA-based performance optimizations for machine learning workloads.
- At least 1 year of experience improving systems-level performance across machine learning frameworks.
- At least 1 year of experience developing and deploying large-scale machine learning systems.
- At least 1 year of experience using big data frameworks including MySQL, Spark, Hadoop, or Flink.
