Base Salary
$85k - $167k/yr
Responsibilities
- Perform cybersecurity assessments and compliance reviews for vehicle features, functions, platforms, and modules.
- Integrate cybersecurity requirements into product design and development from ideation through testing.
- Review and approve or reject supplier deliverables for cybersecurity conformance.
- Apply threat analysis, risk assessment, security requirements, audits, and vehicle ecosystem assessments.
- Manage progression through the development process to support security by design.
- Develop supplier expertise, support reuse within the Cybersecurity Management System, and report unresolved risks to management and executive stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related domain, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 5+ years of experience with embedded, IoT, and/or product-systems cybersecurity.
- Functional knowledge of cryptographic controls and their application strategies.
- Experience with security systems engineering, development, and testing.
- Experience developing and maintaining engineering documentation such as requirements, specifications, and test plans.
- Preferred qualifications include CISSP or Security+ certification, vulnerability assessment management experience, and threat modeling experience using MITRE ATT&CK or STRIDE.
