Responsibilities
- Implement, test, deliver, and streamline Nexthink’s data platform while accelerating data onboarding.
- Design and deliver scalable, resilient, distributed services that process billions of events.
- Collaborate with product managers, architects, and engineering stakeholders on product quality and technical solutions.
- Participate in the technology roadmap and promote improvements to security, quality, performance, and team efficiency.
- Ship complex features and improvements and handle L3 support requests with the team.
- Contribute to platform reliability, scalability, performance, and engineering DevOps practices.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience as a Java developer in SaaS projects.
- Strong experience with microservices frameworks; Micronaut or Spring experience is a plus.
- Expertise with messaging systems such as Kafka is strongly valued.
- Knowledge of streaming services and distributed caching is a plus.
- Experience with AWS or another cloud provider.
- Familiarity with unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Experience with CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes is a plus.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, organizational, and self-management skills.
- Professional-level spoken and written English.
