Base Salary
$99k - $225k/yr
Responsibilities
- Partner with Army customers to understand questions, needs, and data-rich environments.
- Develop algorithms, scripts, predictive analytics, and automation solutions.
- Apply natural language processing and machine learning techniques to complex data.
- Build and scale data products across distributed computing environments.
- Create data visualizations and explain findings to senior military leadership.
- Implement web-based user interfaces.
- Mentor teammates and provide technical leadership.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering.
- Experience applying advanced analytic techniques, including natural language processing and machine learning.
- Experience building data products with open-source programming languages including Python, R, TensorFlow, and ElasticSearch.
- Experience scaling data products across distributed computing environments using technologies including Hadoop, MapReduce, or MongoDB.
- Experience with visualization tools including Cloudera, Tableau, and Gephi.
- Experience implementing web-based user interfaces using HTML5, JavaScript, and NodeJS.
- TS/SCI clearance is required.
- Bachelor’s degree is required.
- Master’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, mathematics, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
