Base Salary
$130k - $135k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build new features and enhancements for global ticketing platforms.
- Optimize applications for performance to handle massive spikes in traffic.
- Create services that power core infrastructure, implementing APIs for back-end products.
- Dynamically scale distributed systems to manage varying traffic demands.
- Develop scalable, public-facing APIs for robust integration with partner platforms.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and product managers to create innovative solutions.
- Participate in design and code reviews to ensure high-quality code.
- Develop consistent, well-tested code using Open Source Programming Languages and Frameworks.
- Implement security measures to combat fraud and bot attacks.
Requirements
- 4+ years of relevant software development experience.
- BS in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Proficiency with C# and knowledge of .NET and .NET core ecosystems.
- Understanding of cloud environments and infrastructure as code.
- Experience developing API services in AWS.
- Experience with large scale high performance transactional systems.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Solid foundation in service-oriented architectures and web services.
- Understanding of the software development life cycle.
- Ability to execute processes around code quality and deployment.
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
- Experience mentoring less senior colleagues.
- Proven ability to learn new technologies quickly.
- Takes initiative and stays focused in a fast-paced environment.
