Responsibilities
- Design and build software using AI agents integrated with network systems to improve global network capability and performance reliability.
- Engage in the full service lifecycle from inception and design through deployment, operation, and refinement.
- Develop software platforms and frameworks, provide system design consulting, perform capacity planning, and support launch reviews.
- Measure and monitor availability, latency, and overall system health for live services.
- Scale systems through automation and improve reliability and engineering velocity.
- Troubleshoot and operate multi-vendor network devices and routing protocols as a Tier-1 on-call engineer.
- Practice sustainable incident response and conduct blameless postmortems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Eight years of software development experience in one or more programming languages.
- Three years of experience leading projects.
- Three years of experience designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting distributed systems.
- Experience with network protocols and large-scale networking architectures or equivalent network engineering experience, such as Cisco CCNA.
- Experience leading cross-functional technical projects or missions spanning multiple teams.
- Ability to debug and optimize code and automate routine tasks.
- Expertise designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems.
- Systematic problem-solving ability and effective verbal and written communication skills.
