Lead Site Reliability Engineer (AI/ML)

Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end deployment and operationalization of scalable, reliable AI/ML models and solutions.
- Establish monitoring frameworks and resolve performance bottlenecks, data drift, and other production issues.
- Partner with business stakeholders, AI engineers, and product teams to define requirements and success metrics.
- Implement MLOps best practices, automation strategies, and workflows across the AI model deployment lifecycle.
- Collaborate with risk, compliance, and governance teams on policy, regulatory, and ethical AI requirements.
- Lead operational incident response, root-cause analysis, and preventative improvements for deployed AI models.
- Drive cross-functional initiatives and influence outcomes without direct authority.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Business, or a related field.
- At least 8 years of experience in AI/ML operations, MLOps, DevOps, or a related role focused on production AI/ML deployment and management.
- Understanding of the AI/ML lifecycle, including data preparation, model training, deployment, and monitoring.
- Experience with a cloud platform and its AI/ML services.
- Proficiency in scripting and familiarity with containerization technologies.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and monitoring tools for machine learning models.
- Understanding of data governance, data quality, and data security principles relevant to AI/ML.
- Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and communicate the business value of AI deployments.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, stakeholder management, operational process, and cross-functional leadership skills.
