Responsibilities
- Build systems that power Intercom’s AI products using ML Python tech stack.
- Work with ML Scientists to bring proof-of-concept code to production.
- Collaborate with product teams to enhance AI-powered product experiences.
- Contribute to software development phases including ideation, prototyping, and testing.
- Mentor and support the career development of other engineers.
- Elevate technical standards and operational excellence within the group.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience shipping high-quality products.
- No prior ML experience required; strong software engineering skills are essential.
- Demonstrated significant impact in previous work.
- Strong technical fundamentals and a willingness to learn.
- Deep knowledge of a high-level programming language (e.g., Ruby, Python, Javascript).
- Strong willingness to advocate for good outcomes.
- Bias towards progress over perfection.
- BSc in Computer Science, Maths, Statistics, or related discipline.
