Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain web applications and user-facing features.
- Participate in requirements discussions, technical design, and code reviews.
- Optimize frontend performance, stability, and usability across browsers and devices.
- Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate APIs and ensure reliable data flow.
- Deliver features according to requirements and agreed timelines.
- Research and experiment with technologies to advance frontend engineering practices.
- Work onsite in London, UK.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or a related field.
- At least 3 years of frontend web development experience using React or similar frameworks.
- Advanced knowledge of one or more programming languages, including JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Understanding of responsive design, component-based architecture, state management, and modern frontend principles.
- Solid programming foundation with attention to code quality and maintainability.
- Effective communication skills in English and Chinese.
- Experience with e-commerce or high-traffic consumer platforms is preferred.
- Familiarity with modern frontend build tools, testing tools, workflows, and practices is preferred.
- Experience working with international or distributed teams is preferred.
