Base Salary
$111k - $140k/yr
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with development staff, contract and offshore engineers, and business product owners in an agile environment.
- Code, test, implement, document, and support application solutions using web and cloud technologies.
- Perform design and analysis for deliverables and lead system-level architecture design sessions.
- Lead and mentor local, contract, offshore, or outsourced software engineers and provide guidance on coding and design standards.
- Develop end-to-end architectural solutions across platforms while considering costs, business needs, and system impacts.
- Serve as a subject matter expert and contribute to organization-wide standards, processes, and guidelines.
- Use third-party frameworks, open-source libraries, and APIs to develop application solutions.
- Prepare presentations, lead development meetings, and keep current with emerging technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, mathematics, engineering, or another technical field, or equivalent education/experience.
- Five years of Core Java experience and expertise with Java, object-oriented and functional programming, Spring Framework, J2EE, dependency injection, and core architecture.
- Three years of database design experience, including relational, document, star-schema, and Kimball-model techniques.
- Understanding of NoSQL technologies and experience with cloud services and related support tools.
- Experience with build, deployment, integration, service, microservices, REST API, container, and continuous integration/deployment tools.
- Familiarity with Angular, React, Vue.js, HTTP, HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
- Experience with AI software development life cycle processes and AWS AI services.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, technical communication, teamwork, prioritization, customer-focus, and deadline-management skills.
- Preferred qualifications include knowledge of advanced analytics, machine learning, data warehousing, ETL, technology or platform certifications, and financial-services or insurance industry experience.
