Responsibilities
- Design and implement Grafana dashboards for operational insights.
- Use Prometheus or an equivalent tool to monitor deployment health and metrics.
- Develop automated runbooks for common operational tasks and support escalations.
- Serve as an operations contact for developers and customers.
- Document and review incidents, resolutions, and team knowledge.
- Design and implement build, deployment, and configuration-management systems.
- Test implemented designs and improve infrastructure and application development.
- Provide technical guidance and educate team members and coworkers on development and operations.
- Build configuration standards, manage project administration, and update operational processes.
- Collaborate with peers and global teams to prioritize assigned work and follow company best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- At least 2 years of experience in a software product development environment is preferred.
- Experience with customer-facing operations on cloud and mobile platforms is preferred.
- Proficiency in Go, JavaScript, and Python is preferred.
- Experience with AWS or Microsoft Azure is preferred.
- Experience with Kubernetes and Terraform is preferred.
- Experience deploying CloudOps/SRE practices is preferred.
- Knowledge of software and deployment testing methodologies and automated test tools is preferred.
- Knowledge of professional software engineering practices across the full software development lifecycle is preferred.
- Experience developing software on both Windows and Linux is preferred.
- Experience communicating with users, technical teams, and management to gather requirements and explain software features and technical designs is preferred.
